Firefly Foil Assist is built for riders who want help getting onto foil, without giving up the feel of the board they already ride.
Whether you are learning prone starts, chasing downwind bumps, pumping back out or trying to make light-wind sessions work, Firefly gives you smooth, immediate assistance to get up to speed and lift onto foil. Once you are flying, you can back off the power and ride normally.
Unlike board-mounted battery systems, Firefly carries the main battery on the rider in a secure hip-mounted unit. This keeps the board cleaner underneath, reduces unnecessary board-mounted weight and leaves your setup feeling more natural underfoot. You can pump, carve and link sections with less compromise, using the motor only when you need it.
The system is powered by a high-capacity lithium-ion battery delivering approx. 583Wh of energy, with a fully charged voltage of 50.4V max. Runtime is typically 40-120 minutes, depending on rider weight, foil setup, conditions, water state and throttle use. Additional battery packs are available separately, so you can swap packs and extend your time on the water.
Firefly includes a waterproof base unit with electronics, high-performance motor, coiled cable and plug, aluminium propeller set, motor pod, improved laminar-flow cable guide, low-profile board cable guides, waterproof handheld remote, flotation strap and dual-port fast charging system.
Designed and made in the UK, Firefly is supplied with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
